Instructions for the Qwantum Banner Maker Utility
This utility allows you to create and customize a **Custom Branded Banner** specifically sized for use with the Qwantum Platform. This banner is displayed with your brandable Qwantum Tokens in the QMFA Wallet, providing a personalized and professional look.
The final output image will be 300x100 pixels, which is optimized for the token display area.
1. Setting Up the Canvas
Before you begin layering content, you can prepare the background of your banner:
- Canvas Size: The canvas is pre-set to the required 300x100 pixel dimension.
- Background Color: Use the Canvas Background section to define a color. Toggle the **Enable Custom Color** switch and select a color from the palette. *Note: The color only appears if your uploaded images do not completely cover the canvas.*
- Corner Radius: Use the **Corner Radius** slider to adjust how rounded the corners of the final banner will be. This affects the saved output image, giving it a soft, modern look.
2. Uploading Images and Adding Text
A. Image Uploads
You can upload up to two layered images (e.g., a background texture and a logo):
- Click the **Image 1** button to upload your base image.
- Click the **Image 2** button to upload a second image. This is often used for a logo, watermark, or a **headshot photo** that will appear on top of Image 1.
B. Text Label
Add custom text, such as a company name or promotional message:
- Enter your desired text in the **Content** input box.
- Set the **Font Family**, **Size**, and **Color**.
- Select an **Alignment** (Left, Center, or Right) for the text block.
- Click the **Add Text Label** button to place the text on the canvas.
3. Editing and Transforming Content
Once content is on the canvas, use the **Transform & Zoom** controls or drag the elements directly:
- Direct Manipulation: You can click and drag any object on the canvas (images or text) to move it, and use the corner boxes to resize or rotate it freely.
- Rotation: Select an object, enter an angle in the **Rotation** field, and click the adjacent button to apply a precise rotation.
- Zoom/Scale: Use the **Zoom (Active Object)** slider to precisely scale the currently selected element.
- Layer Management: If an object is hidden behind another, select it and click **Send Selected To Back**.
- Positioning: Use the **Center Image** or **Fill Canvas** buttons for quick alignment and sizing of the selected image.
4. Saving and Using the Banner
Once you are satisfied with the design, finalize the banner image:
- Click the **Save Flattened Image** button (Save Flattened Image). The utility will download the final 300x100 banner image to your computer.
- Click the **Clear Screen** button (Clear Screen) to remove all objects from the canvas and start a new design.
- Deployment: The saved banner image must then be **manually entered** (uploaded or referenced) in the **Qwantum Platform**'s token configuration settings. This links the custom branding to your Qwantum Tokens for demonstration purposes in the QMFA Wallet.
