Qwantum Token Redemption Portal for Attendance

Overview

The Qwantum Token Redemption Portal is a secure attendance tracking dashboard. It connects to MagTek hardware to validate digital tokens (such as NFC passes or mobile wallet cards) and records check-ins in real-time.

Prerequisites: A MagTek USB Reader device and a compatible web browser (Chrome, Edge) are required.

1. Setup & Controls

Before scanning attendees, familiarize yourself with the control ribbon at the top of the page.

Button/Control Function
Open Initializes the connection to the MagTek device. You must click this to start.
Close Disconnects the device and stops the scanning session.
Clear Clears status messages from the screen (does not delete attendance data).
Download CSV Exports the current session's attendance list to a generic spreadsheet file.
Photo Switch Toggles "Photo Verification Mode" ON or OFF (see workflow below).

4. Troubleshooting

  • Device Disconnected: If the status remains "Disconnected," unplug the USB cable, plug it back in, refresh the page, and click Open.
  • Camera Blocked: If the camera modal does not appear or is black, check your browser's address bar for a permission icon and allow camera access.
  • Logs: For advanced debugging, expand the Transaction Log section at the bottom of the page to view raw device communication data.
